Privacy

NSOF is for young children, so we collect as little as we can and never sell or share personal data for advertising. This page explains what we keep and why.

Usage statistics

To see which quizzes work well and which questions are confusing, NSOF records anonymous events: pages visited, quizzes started and finished, whether each question was answered correctly, skipped or needed help, and how long it took. Events carry a random code that lasts only while the tab is open. They do not include names, email addresses, accounts or the text of answers.

Usage statistics are kept for 13 months. You can switch them off on this device at any time, and we never record them when your browser sends a “do not track” or Global Privacy Control signal.

If you create an account

We keep your email address, the name you choose, your quiz attempts and answers (to build reports and practice), and your settings such as theme and reading speed. You can change these in Settings.

Your child's photo

A photo is only stored if a parent or guardian adds it and gives consent. It is resized, stripped of location details, kept in private storage, shown only to you, and never shared or analysed. Removing it in Settings deletes the photo and the recorded consent.

Feedback and surveys

Messages, question reports and survey answers are used only to improve NSOF. Any email you give is used only to reply to you.

Who processes data for us

Supabase (accounts and database), Vercel (hosting) and Cloudflare Turnstile (checking that forms are sent by people rather than bots). They process data only to provide these services.

Your choices

You can see and change your details in Settings, remove a photo, or ask us to delete your account and all its data from Settings or by emailing [email protected].

Circles and Cubes Co. Private Limited is responsible for this service.
